Urban Living
Urban living
An increasing number of people wants to live in the city, but space is limited. Moreover, the past years, the world citizens in the free and social sector have become more critical. Urban dwellers are ambitious, socially engaged and internationally oriented. Our Urban Living concept provides them with a living concept that meets their needs and their modern urban lifestyle. Compact residences and many communal facilities, such as a courtyard, laundry, mobility concept, a cleaning service, a service for odd-jobs and a community app. Offering both buyers and renters a high-quality way of living in the city.
Urban lifestyle
The common denominator of this concept is the urban modern lifestyle of all residents. Urban dwellers spent an increasing part of their lives outside the house. This group of people prefers a wide-ranging program of activities on the ground floor and many shared services. A gym and a nice little coffee shop in the plinth of the building add vibrancy to the area. A comfortable and attractive way of living without having to worry about maintenance and management. Supported by various technological applications. With the option to provide access to geriatric care for seniors.
Living in the city
People of all ages and target groups like to live in the city. From starters and empty nesters to divorced parents and expats. From key workers who are looking for affordable homes to seniors who want vibrancy and interaction. Their common denominator? They are all critical world citizens who want to combine personal development and experience with success and enjoyment. Their lifestyle evolves around consumption. They are impulsive, adventurous and technology-minded. And like to have all facilities at hand. They are often networkers that are open to meet others. City dwellers, through and through.
Mobility as a Service
MaaS (mobility as a service) is the future. Space in the city is limited and the number of residents and the need for mobility are increasing. Requiring integral solutions as part of new urban living projects. In our Urban Living concept, we offer residents a complete mobility solution, from shared bikes, scooters and cars to passes for public transport. And a personal mobility app to book one of the vehicles. Easy, (cost-)efficient and sustainable.
Tiny apartments
How to create a functional floorplan for a compact apartment that makes the best possible use of all available space? A question the students of TU Delft looked into under supervision of Kas Oosterhuis. They were challenged to design an apartment the size of 50 m2 with the same user quality and functionality as an apartment of 100 m2. Ultimately, the students created 5 prototype scale-models to test their ideas in practice. Inspiring Blauwhoed to create, among others, a smart floorplan for a compact residence.
Shared Living
We developed our Shared Living concept in responds to the demand for special residences for people who want to live together without being in a relationship. The solution is a compact apartment with two equal bedrooms, two private bathrooms and a shared living room and kitchen. Conventional apartments are often designed for couples who live together and consist of one bedroom, one bathroom and one small(er) extra room at the most. The Shared Living concept is especially suitable for use in the city. For example, for people who are looking for a roommate to reduce costs. And who would like to have their own private bedroom and bathroom.
